Cramond Beach + Ice Cream

Last Friday was probably one of the nicest days that Edinburgh has had this year and I was lucky enough to be at Cramond Beach with my boyfriend (his name is Cammie btw). We had picked up a couple sandwiches and some drinks and went down in the car. I like just taking off for the day - jumping in the car and going for a drive. We had our lunch and got out the car to go for a walk. 

My boyfriend kept saying we should walk out to the island, I wasn't so sure in the beginning but in the end I was up for it. We started to walk across the sand and the more we walked the wetter it became, the tide had just went out but there was massive puddles all over the surface. I have to be honest and say I moaned the whole time (I had new shoes on) but looking back it was a lot of fun and I'm happy he dragged me out.

I've just bought a new camera and I've been dying to use it since I got it! Its official, I'm in love with it. I've always loved taking photos but this is my first proper camera - only up from here!!!

The first photo was taken by me but the last two my boyfriend took, it was such a lovely day and we had so much fun. After we went a walk we then walked along to some shops and got a couple of ice cream cones - I had raspberry ripple (my favourite) and my boyfriend had mint chocolate chip and strawberry....I think haha. I'm not a big ice cream fan but when the sun is out, it always tastes better than what I remember. It really made me look forward to the summer and all the fun I've got to look forward to.
