Berlin Trip | Day Five

It's the final day. It was one of the quickest trips I've been on and it just flew by. I wish we had been away for longer...anyway it was still a lovely day. The sun was back out, but I had to dress for the airport and the plane home and since its Scotland the jeans were back out!

We decided that a McDonalds was a good idea that day because of our flight times we would miss lunch so a bigger breakfast was the plan. Afterwards we were walking round many shopping malls and trying to find things to spend our last euros on...I quickly found it wasn't that difficult.

I apologise in advance at how short this post will be in comparison to the others, apparently I didn't take many photos that day...

If you've read my beauty haul post you would know that I bought the "they're real push-up liner" from Benefit while I was there. The lady offered to do my make up and ended up putting loads of different things on my face - I actually bought a few of the products once I got home. If you want to see the other products I got when I got home click this link - Beauty Haul - I also really loved the way my skin looked once everything was applied...

This is the finished look...excuse the expression I am quite a shy person and was rather nervous about the whole thing haha! I'd started to calm down by this point...

Cammie treated himself to a Ralph Lauren hoodie, it is blue with the orange trademark horse on the front! It was in the sale and a pretty decent bargain - especially once we converted it back to pounds haha. Look how happy he looks, what a cutie!

A lot of the malls there had massive posh supermarkets in the basements! It was bizarre...or maybe just strange to me. But oh my god. The cakes looked amazing, I didn't buy anything because I wasn't sure if it would make it to the airport. This was the last photo I took...

Once we left here we headed back to the hotel to wait for our transfer back to the airport, it was late arriving and I was so worried that it had forgotten about us and we wouldn't get to our flight in time...obviously it did turn up and I just over thought and stressed about nothing. Typical Lisa haha. The airport wasn't the greatest and it was heaving. The cues weren't organised and it was a bit of a nightmare. We ended up having to rush to get to our gate because it took so long. The flight was alright but it was quite turbulent...I think I nearly broke Cammie's hand. I'm really not great with travelling. We got home eventually and treated ourselves to a Chinese and an early night.

It was such an amazing trip and I loved every second. We seen so much and I learnt a lot. I'm really looking forward to our next adventures...hopefully Florida in a couple of years (I've never been before so I can barely contain my excitement). It is very rewarding to work so hard throughout the year saving money from our part-time jobs to be able to travel to different and exciting cities. Especially to be able to experience it with my best friend and boyfriend - it is priceless.
