Pamper Day | Bath Time

I absolutely love when I have time for a bath, usually I'm too impatient to wait on the bath running or I just simply don't have enough time to hang about and wait for the bath to fill up, so whenever I have a free day I always try and have a bath and just relax.

Today was one of those days. I've got a day off work and I don't have any plans until tonight. I got paid last week and I bought a few bits and pieces in Lush - this bath melt being one of them. It's called "Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment" (£3.95). It reminds me of sweeties and candy floss, it honestly smells amazing. I like running myself a bath and putting the bath melt or bomb in once I'm in the bath - this one made the water go a lovely creamy pink colour and you could feel it moisturising your skin as your in the bath. I can still smell the bath melt on my skin since I got out the bath - I just love it.

I used my favourite body wash at the moment - Soap & Glory's "Sugar Crush". I thought the mixture of the sweet smell from the bath melt mixed with the lime from the body wash was perfect. Although I don't recommend it if you're not a big fan of sweet scents! I was sure I had some face mask left somewhere but I didn't so I decided just to use Soap & Glory's "Scrub Your Nose In It". I try to use this about once a week - its a facial scrub used to reduce break outs and clear out your pores. Thankfully I'm not prone to massive break outs but they do happen occasionally but I've found that this has really helped recently. It smells like peppermint and leaves your face feeling super soft. I also found that it makes your makeup go on nicely. I have had this for a while - so I'm not sure if the formula or anything has changed - but I definitely recommend it.

I created a pamper playlist - some songs that just relax me - and played that while I was in the bath. I sometimes read a book or a magazine, it just depends on how I'm feeling. I think it is really important to take some time (when you have it) to just spend some time on yourself, to relax and treat yourself.
